Eleos ABA was built from the ground up to be a different kind of ABA company. Quality of care and patient outcomes are the driving force behind every decision made. These priorities are represented in our mission statement, core values, and even the name “Eleos.”
Why we are different
Eleos ABA was founded by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who saw the need for a different kind of ABA company-one that puts the focus back on helping clients and their families reach their full potential. Founded in Baltimore, Maryland, Eleos is one of a few family-owned and locally operated ABA providers.
ABA therapy is challenging work, and the results are life-changing, but we know your child is more than just their diagnosis and challenges that may face them throughout their day. Our approach ensures that their experience with ABA is a positive and meaningful one. Individualized programs are developed to maximize learning opportunities while focusing on both age and developmentally appropriate skills. Teaching is provided at a pace that works for your child and in a way that fosters their engagement. No two programs are the same because no two clients are the same! We take your child’s preferred activities and make learning opportunities fun and playful. As your child grows, their ABA program with be modified to cater to their changing needs!
Eleos ABA believes in a collaborative approach which can include your child’s speech, OT (Occupational Therapy), and PT (Physical Therapy) services, teachers, and other caregivers. Your child’s BCBA will work with all other service providers in their life to ensure that their program is successful and impactful. Collaboration with other disciplines allows the services providers to communicate their individual goals and mutually agree upon goals. This can avoid conflicting goals for your child. The BCBA is also able to apply skills being taught by the other services provider in their ABA sessions. Here are a few examples:
- If the client uses a visual schedule in the classroom, the same type of visual schedule can be used during ABA therapy to help generalize the skill in different settings.
- If the SLP is working on “m” sounds and the ABA therapist is working on the client labeling items, the ABA therapist can have the client work on labeling items that start with m.
- If OT is working on not having the client sit with their legs behind them, the ABA therapist can prompt the client to sit with their legs in front of them during play.
Each family is unique, and our programs are designed to support and advocate for each individual and their family. Being a small, Maryland-based company allows us to provide each and every client with the individualized care they deserve. We want all families to have a positive experience when working with Eleos ABA starting at the intake process.
